Great Alternative to Ceramic Tile & Wearplate
MeCaWear© 450 is a three-component inorganic/organic novolac based coating modified with silicon carbide and a dense packing of alumina ceramic. The polymer matrix is further reinforced with KEVLAR® fiber to form an outstanding abrasion resistant polymer for high temperature service. The hybrid polymer chemistry is designed to withstand elevated temperature up to 270°C (518°F). MeCaWear© 450 is a great alternative to ceramic tile and sheet grade wear technology. The coating can be top coated with MeCaWear© 350 for additional slip resistance or contrasting wear indicating color.
