Alloy Al (Grade 1350) for environmental and marine corrosion resistance
Coatings provide protection against atmospheric corrosion and in salt water immersion environments. Good heat and electrical conductivity. Not suitable for alkaline environments. This 525AS aluminum wire meets the standard specification AA 1350 (min. 99.5% Al) and is made exclusively for arc spraying. The as-sprayed coating provides resistance to atmospheric, chemical and high temperature corrosion as well as excellent electrical and heat conductivity. Electric wire arc sprayed aluminum coatings have greater bond strength than flame sprayed coatings.
