EuTroLoy 16483
Ni-Cr-B-Fe-Si alloy, Blend of 35% WC and nickel alloy powder.
16483 is a blended powder designed for use with the plasma transferred arc (PTA) process. The powder consists of two components, a moderately hard atomized nickel-chromium alloy powder and extremely hard tungsten carbide particles. The coatings produced offer a moderately hard matrix with a uniform distribution of carbide particles. The result is a coating that offers a unique combination of resistance to abrasion and resistance to impact. Additionally, 16483 has very good resistance to sliding, grooving, sliding grain and rolling grain wear. 16483 also exhibits good corrosion resistance.
