The CastoWeld System is an advanced PTA plasma coating equipment that is widely used in glass factories, especially for the regeneration of plungers and rings. Thanks to its integration with the GAP 3511 DC Synergic plasma welder, the system ensures exceptional precision and repeatability of the process.
Advanced PTA plasma coating technology
The CastoWeld system allows full control of the coating process via an intuitive touch panel. The operator can adjust parameters such as:
- oscillation width and speed,
- turntable speed,
- the amount of powder and the welding current for each bead.
Thanks to its high precision and repeatability, the CastoWeld System makes it possible to optimize material consumption and increase the durability of coated parts.
Adaptation to specific applications
Our PTA plasma coating station for glass factories is designed according to customer requirements. Based on the data of the workpieces to be coated (dimensions, weight, type of material), we select the appropriate number of axes, type of turntable and its loading capacity. If necessary, we also develop dedicated coating programs.
The CastoWeld system meets all safety standards, allowing the CE mark to be applied to the entire station.
Intuitive operation and full automation
Operation of the CastoWeld System does not require programming skills - the user only enters values into appropriately described fields. After saving the coating parameters, the previously created program can be recalled at any time. The entire PTA plasma coating process runs automatically after loading the workpiece and starting the appropriate program.
